It said I was getting a $144 state tax return, then at the end it says I'm getting a $69 state return, why is it different ?

It may be that the refund monitor adjusted the refund amount after your last entry and you did not notice it.  You can preview your tax returns to check your refund amount as follows:

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can view this as follows:

1. Switch to Forms Mode, and then  (see screenshots below for additional guidance)
2. Scroll through your forms in the left panel and 
3. Click on the form you want to preview (Example Form 1040 or your state tax return)

You can get to your Tax Return in TurboTax Online as follows: 

1. Go to "Tax Tools" in your left panel,
2. Select "Tools" and then 
3. Select "View Tax Summary" and 
4. Select "Preview Entire Return"
