It says I am only getting federal taxes back. Why am i not getting any state taxes back??

If you are getting a federal refund, you paid in too much federal income tax or you are getting tax credits.

If you aren't getting any state income tax back, it's because you paid in your exact amount that you should have. It's called your tax liability.
