Question

It says my return is printed and ready to mail. Does this mean I’m getting a check or do I have to mail my stuff?

You now have to mail in your return.

is there any way to change it back to being deposited onto this turbo card that I received in the mail?

If you have not filed your return yet, you can change the way you are receiving your refund. Please follow these steps:

  1. Go to the File section in the left menu.
  2. Next to Step 2: Your refund info select Revisit.
  3. Choose your desired refund method and select Continue.

If you have already filed your tax return, you will not be able to change your refund method.

You can review your tax return to see how you will be receiving your refund. Here are the steps:

  1. Click on Tax Tools from the menu on left-side
  2. Then click on Print Center
  3. Click on Print, save or preview this year's returns
  4. Scroll down to your Form 1040 and look at line 21 b and d on page 2. If there is account information listed, you will be receiving a direct deposit. If those lines are blank, you will be receiving a check in the mail.
