Question

It says mystate forms arent available yet will they auto.atically file for me if i hit the efike for federal?

No.  You will have to come back and e-file the state return if you choose to only file your federal now.  See the links below to see when you forms will be ready.  E-filing does not start until Feb 12, so don't e-file too soon.  If you do, your account will be in pending status until the IRS starts processing and you won't be able to make changes or add additional tax data to your return.   So, it is best to wait until all of your forms are ready before you transmit either return.  Tax document issuers have until the end of the month to get documents out.

  • When you locate your form, there will be dates for both Print and (in most cases) E-file availability. If the E-file form is listed as unsupported, the form must be printed and you'll need to mail your return.
