Question

It says that im not able to e-file, why? i dont know how to fix it

Most returns can be electronically filed.  Below is a link with situations when a return cannot be electronically filed.

 

Reasons returns cannot be e-filed

 

If you tried to file and received a rejection message, please follow the steps in the link below to correct the issue and try to file again.

 

How to fix a rejected return

 

If you are still having issues, you typically will be given a rejection code of why your return cannot be e-filed.  Please comment with this code so we can direct you accordingly.
