Form 1099-K can be issued in two different scenarios, first is if you have a business and accepted electronic payments for your business, the other way you could get a 1099-K is if you received electronic payments for the sale of your personal items.

You might want to delete what you entered first, since it was giving you errors:

  1. Login to your TurboTax account
  2. Search for the form name in the search bar
  3. Select the Jump to link in the search results to get to the summary screen
  4. Select the trash can icon to delete.

Then follow the next steps to enter Form 1099-K if it was received as part of your business:

  1. Open or continue your return and select Search.
  2. Search for Schedule C and select the Jump to schedule c.
  3. Answer the questions about your business and its expenses until you get to the Here’s your info screen.
    1. If you’re returning to Schedule C, select Review or Edit next to your work and then answer the questions about your business.
  4. Select Add income for this work.
  5. On the Let's enter the income for your work screen, select Form 1099-K and Continue.
  6. Enter your 1099-K info.

If you received it for the sale of your personal items see the TurboTax help article How do I enter a 1099-K for personal item sales?
