Did you enter your information under "non-filer" to get the stimulus check?  And now you are trying to e-file a tax return?  That could cause a rejection for using the SSN twice in a tax year.  When your return is rejected for your SSN being used already, you cannot fix it and e-file.  That rejection is coming from the IRS, which already shows your SSN has been used.  Or did someone claim you as a dependent?  That would also cause the same kind of rejection, even if you did not know you were being claimed (perhaps without out the legal right to claim you.....)  The only thing you can do is print, sign and mail your tax return and wait for the IRS to sort it out.
