Question

Its says I didnt have dependents last year and I had 4. Why is that and can I reclaim from last year for this year?

You should look at your form 1040 from last year to see if your dependents were listed on the return. Look on the top of the first page under "Dependents" and see if your dependents are listed there. If not, you can amend your return in TurboTax to add them. You cannot make up for them missing in 2018 on your 2019 return, you will have to amend your 2018 tax return.

You will see an option on your home page in TurboTax for the year you are dealing with to "Amend\Change" your tax return.
