Question

Just need to verify the deadline for Ga. Is it April 15th by midnight? Meaning, I would still have some time left tomorrow? Or would I need to finish tonight?

Just trying to make sure I don't need to submit my taxes by midnight (14th). Can I still take some time on the day of the 15th to go over them one more time?

For the state of Georgia the date for filing a 2024 tax return and payment of any taxes owed has been extended to May 1, 2025 for all resident of Georgia.  This is due to the Hurricanes that went through the state in late 2024.

    • Currently, taxpayers in the entire states of AlabamaFloridaGeorgiaNorth Carolina and South Carolina, and parts of Tennessee and Virginia, who received extensions to file their 2023 returns have until May 1, 2025, to file. Tax-year 2023 tax payments are not eligible for this extension. In addition, May 1 is also the deadline for filing 2024 returns and paying any tax due.
