Kansas State charitable contribution error
While completing our Kansas state taxes, we made entries to the State sponsored charities (Chicadee checkoff, etc.). When we finally to the "Let's go over your Kansas numbers", I decided to look at (expand) the "Taxes, payments and credits" by check marking the See Details box. To my surprise, the Voluntary contributions sum was NOT the same as we selected and as shown on the Deductions page. Yet the Kansas Tax Refund amount was correct.
