Question

Left for a deployment before the end of the year and was wondering if i need to claim or not, it has alot of overseas bases but not mine

Are you trying to determine if you need to file an income tax return if you are overseas or if you are entitled to claim a tax exclusion for combat service?

Typically, if you serve in a combat zone, and are an eligible member as outlined in the link below, you can exclude your income from taxation.
