I electronically submitted our federal taxes on February 10. They were accepted the same day. As of today, April 24, the IRS has not processed them. Is such a delay common this year? Is there anything I can do? I have received no communication from the IRS.
Yes, this year it seems to be a lot more common for refunds to take months instead of days. You would need to contact the IRS at 800-829-1040 to find out what is happening with your return
