Question

MA State Return - got a notification that says "Sch Y, Gambling Losses should not be entered unless there are Gambling winnings on Schedule X" How do I enter in ScheduleX

    You will input your winnings in the Federal input section.

    1. Go to Income & Expenses 
    2. Scroll down until you see the section under All Income.  Select Less Common Income. 
    3. Select Gambling winnings 
    4. Proceed to answer the questions and enter information as applicable from your Form W-2G. 
    5. If you had any state withholdings on your winnings, be sure to enter that information here as well. 
      This information will pull into your Massachusetts returns.
