My husband and I were single when we received the 1st two stimulus checks. For 2020, we are filing married filing joint. My husband didn't receive the total amounts but when I put our combined amounts in, TurboTax gives us a credit for the difference.

Yes. The Recovery Rebate Credit is calculated based on your 2020 adjusted gross income and filing status. If you jointly qualify for more of a stimulus then you did separately, then you will get the credit on Line 30 of your 1040.
