We  live in California, and are Married Filing Separately. I see this screen "Check This Entry" in State Taxes.

Please advise which options I should choose in the question below (Also,  ot sure why it says CA Nonresident as I had chosen CA state. )

California Information Worksheet: MFS - CA Nonresident checkboxes must be chekced yes or no when filing electronically and filing status is married filing separate.

  • No entry
  • MFS - CA Nonresident Yes
  • MFS - CA Nonresident No

Thanks so much!

You will check the box that indicates you are not a nonresident "MFS - CA Nonresident No"
