Massachusetts resident who works in Connecticut

Both my wife and I work in Connecticut and live in Massachusetts.  My W2 shows CT state wages only, however, my wife's W2 shows both MA and CT state wages, which are her total income for each state.  Turbo Tax appears to be doing our CT tax return correctly, however,  when I got to do my MA tax return Turbo Tax is showing my wife's income as doubled for our wages.  Can you please let me know how to correctly adjust this in Turbo Tax?

The W2 is probably the issue. Your resident state taxes all income regardless of what the W2 says. For her W2, only the CT portion needs to be entered. Delete the lines regarding your home state of Mass. Both states have received their copy of the W2 from the employer so this is not a problem.

The CT return must be done first and tax lability calculated, then the MA return to give the proper credit for CT income tax.
