May tax return including rentals and the QBI deduction be filed?

My taxes are complete and I plan on filing them.  Last year I took the QBI on my rentals for the first time.  The program indicated that the Federal return had to be mailed and not filed.  Today, I have the option to e-file my Federal return.  Is it ok to e-file my Federal return or is there a reason it should be mailed instead??  I don't know why the program did not allow last year's return to be e-filed because of the QBI deduction and this year the program is allowing the return with the QBI to be e-filed.

Thank you

Yes. You can e-file your return.  Rental real estate was ambiguous for a period. The 'safe harbor' rules may have been the reason, but I can't be sure.  The questions are asked about the required record keeping and if you answered them TurboTax included the QBI with your tax return.
