Box 5, Medicare Wages is 99.76 greater than Box 16, State wages. Do I need to do anything special or tell Turbo tax that it is? I do have a retirement plan with my employer. Do I even need to let them know this?

The most common reason why your Medicare wages may be higher is because of 401(k) contributions (W2, Box 12, Code D) or other pre-tax retirement plan contributions. That is likely the reason. And you do not have to do anything about it.

If you feel your Form W-2 is incorrect, you can discuss it with your employer/payroll company and they can issue you a corrected Form W-2.
