Attempting to use the "Live Tax Advice" function.

I received an email that an agent sent me a message. Instructions stated to login to turbotax to get the message.

where are the messages located?

    Depending on what TurboTax product you are using, your message may be found when clicking on "Messages" in your top right corner after you log into your program or 

    by clicking on the TurboTax floating LIVE help button.

    You can connect with a LIVE TurboTax Agent as follows:

    1. You can Select the floating Live help button.
    2. You can select Connect with live help at the top of the chat window.
    3. You can enter your tax question or tax topic area and select Continue.
    4. You can select your preferred method for connecting with a tax expert.


    If you're using the TurboTax mobile app the instructions for how to connect with a tax expert are on the app.


    If you would like to switch to TurboTax Live and you start using another TurboTax product:

    1. Sign in to TurboTax and open or continue your return.
    2. Select Live Tax Advice.
    3. Select Upgrade.

    turbotax deluxe 2024 desktop for mac

     

    there is no “messages” in the top right corner or anywhere else on the application.
    When I log in to the intuit website (as directed by email), there is no “messages” anywhere on that page.
    I went through the whole left side menu from “overview to documents” - there is no “messages” there either.
    I don’t need assistance clearing cache or cookies.
    What I need is for the Live Tax Advice agent to actually call back as per the pop up message delivered after I clicked on, “connect with an expert” on the “review” page of the turbotax deluxe desktop for mac application.
    This would be appreciated since the withdrawal of the fee was almost instantaneous.

    To send/view messages from your tax expert, select the tab with your expert's name (next to Checklist). You’ll see a list of all your messages. You can also enter and send your expert a message here.

    I do not know the experts name - no one has called me yet!

    I keep using the "connect with an expert" button (daily) in the desktop version. All that happens is a popup opens to tell me a time to expect a call back that never comes. I know my phone works I have had other calls. 

    I even tried the general  help number [phone number removed]). I was told a time to expect a call back - again, never happened. I am sure everyone there is busy this time of year. But a system in place that keeps promising a call back - but does not or can not provide a reasonable time frame to reschedule is not of much help.

    I asked the same question and Victoria posted the EXACT same answer about the tab. She hasn’t responded back to me. I use the Mac desktop version. 

    My expert sent a message and I can’t find or access it either.
