Missing 1099 entries

As others have noted, Lines 5a and 5b  entries are missing from the 1040 form despite having been filled out.

Went back into the application, and deleted/re added an entry, there was no change.

 

The dialog screens show the entries, but they DO NOT Appear on the 1040.

 

This is delaying filing.

    Is there an amount on Lines 4a and 4b?

     

    My entries from a Form 1099-R for pension income is showing on both Line 5a and 5b using the 2023 Premier desktop edition for Windows.  This is because there were different amounts in box 1 and in box 2a on the 1099-R.

    lines 4a 4b &5a are all blank.

    So you have an amount in line 5b?  That's right.  If line 5a is the as the taxable amount on 5b thdn 5a isn't filled in.

    And if the taxable amount is the same as the gross amount then the "a" line  (4a/5a) will be blank.  What code is in box 7?  Was it for a Rollover to another account?

    Box 7 contained a 7.

     

    Seems a bit wrong to me.
