There is an option to provide a date when you moved IN or OUT from the USA to another country. It does not cover a case where a person (US Citizen) has moved into USA (Say 6th April) and also moved back to the same country (25th September) where S/He paid taxes as well.  The person works for a company with offices in both countries. Gets paid in respective currencies where posted. How / Where these IN & OUT  dates be mentioned?

US citizens are taxed on worldwide income so your dates only matter for state taxes and the foreign earned income exclusion.

You did not say whether you are trying to enter dates in My Info or in the Foreign Earned Income or Exclusion section, not did you say whether you were in the US temporarily or actually did moved with the intent to stay and then had a change of plans.

TurboTax does not handle "sandwich" residencies, so in My Info you should adjust your dates so the total months match the amount of time you spent in the US if you are listing a state.

The IRS only allows one Form 2555 per person so you would list the whole year as in and out dates and fill in days present in the US for the donut hole.
