Mu husband and I were separated all of 2019, he passed away in december of 2019. how do I file, and do i have to claim his wages, i never saw any of the money? TIA

You can file your return as Married Filing Separate or Married Filing Jointly. If you have access to his tax documents, you should see which option gives you the largest refund or lowest tax liability. You then would file the one that gives you the best results.

If you have children living with you, you may be able to file using the filing status of Head of Household because you did not live with your husband for the last six months of the year.
