My 1099-NEC for a client always says it's "incomplete" but it is. What can I do? It won't let me complete my filing.

I have two incomes, one is graphic design. My NEC is very simple. Just income, nothing withheld, with an EIN for my client. Nothing is missing. But when I try to complete my filing it flags it that it's missing information and will be deleted if I proceed. It always says "Needs review". I even deleted the income and entered it fresh, in case something was errored. No help. I don't want to start over from scratch.

So I gave up and let it "delete" the NEC as I proceeded on and everything is okay. It looks like the original faulty NEC I deleted was still in the system somewhere I couldn't see and letting it delete it cleared the error.

So this is solved.
