My 15 year old had a summer job and earned $1,114.54. Does she have to file a separate tax return

Yes. She is not required to file, however, she will want to in order to get a refund for any tax withheld. She must let Turbo Tax know that she is being claimed on someone else's tax return, by answering yes to two questions. Please see my screenshot below.
