Solved

My accepted 1040 has my child's name in the header and she isn't even claimed as a dependent(I'm divorced). Why is it there? How does this affect my return?

Picture attached.  Why is my non-dependent child listed in the 1040 header?

Seems like a glitch or a bug.  How do I know there are no other glitches or mistakes?

Its because you are Head of Household filing status.  While your child isn't your dependent, the child is qualifying you for the Head of Household status, which is still possible if you are the custodial parent even when not claiming the child as a dependent.  This is why the name is listed there.
