My child turned 17 y/o in 2023 yet TurboTax continues to apply a $2K Child Tax Credit. My fed return was rejected because of that and TT Premier won't allow me to fix it.

And unsure if my 17 y/o may qualify for the Other Dependents Tax Credit of $500. Will TurboTax be updated to fix this glitch?

The child's date of birth is more than likely incorrect.  A child age 17 or older in 2023 is not eligible for the child tax credit, only for the Other Dependent credit of $500.

Check the dependent's date of birth in the My Info section of the online editions.  Make sure it is in the MM/DD/YYY Y format and the date is correct.

Click on My Info on the left side of the online program screen.  Edit the dependent.

If the date is correct, then delete the dependent and re-enter

If you are using the TurboTax desktop software the click on Personal Info at the top of the desktop program screen and edit the dependent to verify their date of birth.
