My children are both full time college students. They filed taxes on their minimal income. Turbo tax wont let me claim them as dependents even tho i paid for ALL. ?

I paid for their tuitions, food, room, board, travel, clothing, insurance. Turbo tax is claiming my kids paid more than half of their living, but I don't know what that is based on. How do I change that?

You might have skipped past an important screen in MY INFO---we have been seeing users who miss it. When you enter their information in MY INFO there is a screen titled "Less Common Situations" ---you have to click that they were full-time students on that screen. And when it asks if the kid paid for over half their own support say NO---it is not asking if you paid over half--it is a weird question that asks if the child paid over half.
