My dad and i have the same first and last name. It thinks im him saying my b-day is wrong. How to fix?

The IRS checks the last name, date of birth and the social security number (SSN) when a return is submitted for verification. It's extremely rare for them to make a mistake in my experience. Double check all of your entries and the entries for your father to be sure all pieces of information are accurate. Your situation with same names is quite common and would not create an error for that reason alone.
