Question

My daughter did her tax return and chose the response that no one else can claim her. Can she change that answer if she already got her refund.

sure. since she got a refund she can now file an amend return. she will probably owe. it will have to mailed.

but if she has a bank or savings a/c she can register at IRS website and pay electronically. or if easier just send in a check. make sure it's done before 4/15 to avoid penalties. don't know if a state is involved , but if it is it may also need to be amended.

when mailing use a method where you can track it or get proof of delivery
