My daughter is 19 and full-time student, her father can claim her as dependent although she lives with me. Can I claim head of household?

Per our divorce agreement, he can claim her although I have primary custody.   I thought I could get head of household status while she is a full-time student even if I don't claim her as a dependent.  Please advise.

It depends, but probably.  If you are maintaining at least 50% of the household expenses, your daughter living with you (even though your ex claims her as a dependent) does qualify you to claim Head of Household.  (You would also qualify to claim Earned Income Credit as well).  He will be entitled to her exemption and educational credits.

In TurboTax, you will input her dependent information, and then answer yes to the question if you have an agreement to allow her father to claim her.  While she will not be your dependent, you will later see TurboTax will recommend Head of Household status for you.  Here's an FAQ that provides more information on this:  https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/4206137
