My daughter made approx 25 k last year and was taxed 12.5%, this year she made $65 k and it looks like she being taxed 19%, she went from a refund of $600 to owing $3k?
Am i missing something?
I doubt you're missing anything. It sounds like she went into a higher tax bracket for most of her income and was under-withheld.
