If your dependent child has income in 2017, you do not report your child's income on your tax return.

You can still claim him as a dependent if you provided more than half of his support for the year and he was under 19 at the end of 2017 (or under 24 and a full time student).

If he is 19 or older (or 24 or older and a full-time student), you cannot claim him as a dependent if he earned more than $4,050 in 2017.

The following instructions are for your dependent child:

If you file a tax return, you have to indicate in the My Info section of TurboTax that you are claimed as a dependent by another taxpayer.
