If you have NOT filed the 2019 tax return then you can return to the tax return and edit the W-2 to make corrections.  In the File section Step 2 you can edit your direct deposit information.

Sign onto your TurboTax online account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down and click on Add a State.  This will take you back to the 2019 online tax return.

If you have filed the 2019 tax return and it has been accepted then the method of receiving the tax refund cannot be changed.  If the direct deposit information is incorrect then the bank will reject the deposit and return the refund back to the IRS.  The IRS then will send a refund check in the mail to the address on your tax return.

To make changes to the 2019 tax return that was filed you will need to amend the tax return.

An amended tax return, Form 1040X, can only be printed, signed, dated and mailed by you to the IRS, it cannot be e-filed. The IRS will take up to 4 months to process the amended tax return. Wait until you have received the tax refund or the taxes owed have been paid and processed by the IRS before amending the tax return.

To access your online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Amend (change) return

You can call TurboTax and speak with an agent.  TurboTax customer service/support does not have a single phone number but has many different phone numbers based on the type of platform used.  So that we can direct your call to the best person/department to help you:

1. Click on this link:  https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact/
2. Select your TurboTax platform.  
3. Ask your question / state your problem.  Do NOT use the word "refund' or you will get a phone number for tax refunds.
4. Click Submit.
5. On the next screen, choose the Call option and follow the instructions.  You will be given the approximate wait time.  

You'll get a toll-free number to a TurboTax expert who is specially-trained to handle your particular issue.

If you have not yet filed your return, you can go back to the entry for your W-2  using these steps:

1. Click on Federal  > Wages & Income 
2. In the Wages and Salaries section, click on the Start/Revisit box
3. You will see the screen, Here's your W-2 info.  Click Edit next to your W-2.
4. Continue through the interview, entering the information on your W-2.
