Question

My e-file keeps getting rejected because of my AGI amount. I didn’t file taxes for the year 2016 so I put $0. Why isn’t it accepting that if I didn’t file? Help this is stressing me abo

Change that dollar amount to the AGI from your originally-filed 2016 return (or enter 0 if you didn't file last year), then select Continue e-filing. If you’ve tried everything and nothing works, you can still file a paper return by printing out copies of your federal and state returns and mailing them. We’ll include File by Mail Instructions on where to send your returns and what forms, if any, you need to include.
