My EIN # on my 1095C does not match my w2, is this ok?

    Yes, that's ok and makes sense.

     

    The EIN on your W-2 is your employer. 

    The EIN on your 1099-C is the number for the "Creditor" not for you. 

     

    Your Social Security Number should be listed next to the creditor on Form 1099-C as the "Debtor TIN". 

    Your Social Security Number should also be listed on your W-2.

    And....you do not enter a 1095C on a tax return.  You only save it for your own records.   The only health insurance document you should enter --- if  you have one--- is a 1095if you had marketplace health insurance from healthcare.gov.   Do not enter a 1095C at all.
