What if my employer did not send a W2?

First, contact your previous employer and ask them for a copy.

If this is not possible, for example the business closed and left you no way to contact them-

You will enter in the Personal Income Section using your last paycheck, and select "Didn't get a W-2"

This will generate Form 4852, which means you will need to mail in the return.
