Question

My employers from the previous years return are showing up this year, do I enter that information on this years as well or do I delete that?

If you have income from the same employers, you  can enter it on the W-2s that transfer over.  If you do not have income from those employers, then just delete the forms.

To do this

  1. On the Wages & Income screen, click the Start/Revisit box next to Wages and Salaries (W-2).
  2. On the screen, Your W-2 info so far, you will see a list of W-2s.
  3. If you want to delete one, click the "trash can" at the end of the line.
  4. If you want to enter 2020 income from that employer, click the Review box and enter information on the next screen.
