My father passed away unexpectedly so i had to make some unexpected finacial decisions especially since he lived out of state so i was wondering can i get refunded for the money i spent?

Unfortunately, you cannot deduct these expenses on your individual tax return. Those expenses are only deductible against the estate tax.
