Question

My Fed return is processed, completed, refunded on 2/17/21. Why does TT show Federal=ACCEPTED.California State=PENDING. Why is TT data not accurate? ALL E-filed 1/21/21.

In my many past experience, TurboTax has been current, accurate with my data. I am very concerned my California Efile hasn't even been accepted after E-filing 4 WEEKS ago. My Federal return still shows 'ACCEPTED'... But it has already been processed, completed, and refunded on 2/17/21! This obviously makes me feel like TurboTax is disconnected from the agencies.

TT does not update after your return has been accepted. Your account will always show the result of the return you prepared using the software. TurboTax never knows if you received your refund —or how, when or even if you paid tax due. Your proof that you paid your tax will be your own bank/credit card records.
