My federal refund is about $400 less than what I calculated manually, and the same amount less from what other preparation softwares are showing me. Whats going on?

I calculated my federal refund manually, and have begun preparing my return through other softwares. Both methods result in a refund that is about $400 higher than what is shown in TurboTax.

Compare the tax return from TurboTax and the tax return from one of the other software products line by line, and see where the significant differences are. That should tell you where to look to see what is causing the difference.
