My federal taxes were accepted and returned, but my state taxes status says “ready to mail” can I still file my state taxes electronically?

It depends on what state you are filing and what forms are included with your return. Most states can be e-filed with TurboTax; however, there may be a state or a form that requires you to print and mail your return.

If you need to print and mail your state return, locate and click on Tax Tools from the menu on the left-hand side and then click Print Center. Click on Print, save or preview this year's returns.
