My g/f is disabled and receives ssd income greater than $5000/year.
She also has custody of her grandson.They both lived with me in my home and I paid more than half of their support. Can I claim either as a dependent?
Yes. Your girlfriend's disability income is Tax-exempt income and such is not included in gross income.
