My husband and I divorced on Aug 17th and he passed away on sept 26th. We were still living together at the time. How do I file?

If you are not legally married as of 12/31/2017 then you will file as Single. If you have a qualifying person as a dependent and you have paid over one-half the cost to maintain your home you can file as Head of Household.
