my husband did work in 2024, do I need ti file as married jointly or head of household and add my husband as a dependent?

    A spouse cannot ever be claimed as a dependent.   If you lived together you cannot file as Head of Household.   You need to file a joint tax return with your spouse.  You can file a joint return even if one spouse had little or no income.  That way you get the married joint standard deduction of $29,200 which makes more of your income "tax free."
