My husband died this spring and his trust will now have an Ein instead of a Social Security number. Do I need to use the business version of Turbo Tax?

Yes and no.

For his income up until the date of his death, you can use the personal version of Turbotax and file married filing jointly as usual. For income received after his death, if you need to file an estate return, you would need Turbotax Business. The business program is only available to install on a PC from a CD or download, its not available online or for Mac.

I can't tell you when an estate return is needed, or maybe its just your money now. You may need to consult an attorney or accountant.
