Will my husband's death change the way I file my taxes this year? I filed for both of us always with

TurboTax.

    I'm sorry for your loss. 

    TurboTax asks for each user's marital status, widowed is an option. After a couple more questions, the program will deem your martial status "Married Filing Jointly".
