My name is Paul [removed] and my wife name is Marie [removed] why the system telling me they do not match when we sign?

If this is a joint file you have used in the past, be aware that whoever is named first (the top named taxpayer on a printed form) must always remain the top (or first, or primary) taxpayer. If Paul was on top last year, and this year Marie is on top, it won't work. Even if you change the names every place you can see, they will be in their old order in hidden worksheets you can't see or edit. If you tried to change the order, you may need to clear and start over.
