Question

My partner, who claimed me as a dependent on his 2018 taxes received a form 1095-A regarding my insurance policy. It was not addressed to me. Do I report it, or just him?

If you are being claimed on their return the 1095-A goes on their return ... but if you are also filing a return the 1095-A will also go on your return ... when you go to allocate the percentages it must add up to 100% between you both ... the IRS lets you decide what the numbers will be.

Are you the only person listed on the 1095-A and is he claiming you again in 2019 on his tax return?
