Question

My PC caught a virus. When I recovered it all my apps were removed including my 2018 tax program. I paid for it already. How can I get my 2018 tax program back?

Reinstall from the CD, or contact the vendor you bought the download from and download it again.  Turbotax does not place a limit on the number of downloads, and most reputable vendors (Amazon, etc.) will not limit your downloads either.

i had same issue, same question.  But i have no idea how i bought this online (my assumption is i bought it from Intuit, turbotax...)   I have a handful of files still on my drive, but none of the program files.  While i'm doine with my 2018 filing, now i have this Turbotax files that i cannot open.....  I'm not trying to cheat you guys.....and obviously this makes it easier to use turbotax again in 2019

Did you purchase a download from TurboTax?  If so, you can re-download it.

Use this download link to retrieve your purchase:
    https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/commerce/account/secure/login.jsp?pagecontext=download

    Or this one :  https://shopping.turbotax.intuit.com/app/downloads

If the download file isn't there, then look to see if you have multiple accounts (User IDs), and if the download might be in another account.  To get a list of your User IDs and recover account access, you can use the tool at the link below.  Try using your phone number first.    Once you know all of your User IDs, then try each one at the download link I provided above.

NOTE: Before running the account recovery tool below, log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum, or you might end up in a loop.  Then clear your browser Internet cache, close your browser, then reopen it, and go to the link below.  You may wish to copy this link so you can paste it into the new browser session.

If still no luck after running that on your phone number and each email address you have, then run the tool yet again, but this time choose the small blue link that says "Try something else", and it will look you up by SSN and other parameters.
