Question

My return has been rejected, but I can’t figure out why. Is there someone who can review them for me?

No one on this public forum has access to your return (nor should we).  But TT would have sent you an email with a rejection message or code, so tell us what that says.

An e-file rejection means that some things on your return don't match the IRS database, you can fix and refile your return.

Please follow the steps below to fix your return:

  1. Login to your TurboTax account
  2. Select Fix my return to see your reject code and explanation
  3. Select Fix it now and follow the instructions to update the info causing the reject
  4. Once you've fixed the error, select File in the left-hand menu and follow the instructions to either e-file or file by mail

Got this message:

IND-031-04 - The primary taxpayer's AGI or Self-select PIN from last year does not match IRS records.

This is non-sensical.  The AGI on last year's return is exactly as it was filed

and the pin has been the same for at least the last 4 years running!
